Skills
I have honed my problem solving skills and am able to think of different approaches to solving multi-faceted problems. I thrive under pressure and am good at meeting deadlines. I also consider myself to be very reliable, trustworthy, self-reliant and good at maintaining motivation.
I am flexible and work well as part of a team in many roles. Furthermore having taken a leading role in the group project of my degree course, thus I know that I am able to command authority if it is required of me.
Personal Profile
Aside from my degree and web development, I have many interests and hobbies. I have a very prominent interest in photography which I took to a higher level when I purchased a DSLR over a year ago. Since then the level of my photography has increased greatly. The best of my work can be viewed on my online portfolio. My skills in this area also extend to post processing, in which I am able to digitally alter photographs to various effects.
As mentioned above, I was the President of University of London Karate Club where I trained for over two years and participated in competitions, the biggest of which was the WUKF Internationals 2010 where I won a bronze medal. As my title suggests, I was very involved and committed to my club and organised events as well as managing the day-to-day operations.
I also have an avid interest in music. I am a grade 4 pianist and although I no longer have formal lessons, I continue to play in my own time. I also play the electric guitar, which has been entirely self-taught.
I read on a regular basis, stemming mainly to fiction, including fantasy novels, as well as some classic novels. I also keep up with current events.
